Early glimpses of a Legend and a determined sportsman.

It was 15th November,1989, the then 16 year old Sachin was left shell-shocked and blood stained by one of the most brutal fast bowlers of all time Waqar Younis when a bouncer hit him on his head. This was his first test at the international level ! And undoubtedly , the Master Blaster passed it. Denying all medical assistance , he stood up and in his squeaky but strong voice murmured "Mein Khelega"(I will play !) .And when we look back at his glorious 24-year journey we can say it with no doubt or hesitation whatsoever , HE PLAYED ! The little boy kept his promise. Every sport teaches us greater values in life. The will to succeed and determination can alone take us forward to reach the unreachable star and get our dream converted into a pleasant and satisfying reality.
