5 Unbreakable Records In Cricket History

The game of cricket has evolved over the years and we have seen many records being broken and created as well. While there are some people who leave their mark over the game and set standards for generations to come. Here are 10 records that might not be broken in the years to come.

1. Sachin Tendulkar's hundreds and runs.

The Indian batting maestro or the 'Little Master' as they call him, ruled the game completely. Hailed as the 'God' of Cricket, this man notched up 100 international hundreds. 51 of them came in Tests while the remaining from ODIs. In a 24 year career, he broke every possible record in  the game, and not to forget, set a plethora of records that will remain unbroken for a long time.

2. Don Bradman average of 99.94

The Australian batsman achieved what many cannot even dream to. A staggering average of 99.94 in 52 tests and 6996 runs to go with, he certainly left his mark on the game. The game will never see a player like him.

3. Jim Lakers' figures

A dream spell for any bowler! 19 for 90, those figures just trip off the tongue so beautifully, don't they? In 1956 scalped an entire side out of the ground in one innings and then came back to take 9 of their wickets in the 2nd innings, the Australians simply had no answer to Laker.

4. Muralitharans' International wickets

The mighty off-spinner from Sri Lanka was a nightmare for the batsmen firstly due to his horrifying run-up and delivery stride and secondly his variety of testing and turning deliveries. He picked up 534 wickets in the ODIs and not to forget 800 in Tests, both of which are records.

5. Lara's 400 in a Test match

One hardly gets to a triple century in test matches while this man from the Caribbean managed to score a 400 in a Test match . While one would argue for Virendar Sehwag can do it, but still achieving such a humongous feat is something you should be proud of.
