Pranav Dhanawade, a 15-year-old school cricketer from Mumbai, made history by becoming the first batsman to score 1000 runs in a single innings in any form of cricket on Tuesday (January 5). Dhanawade had made headlines on Monday when he went past the previous highest score of 628 made by AEJ Collins back in 1899 and when play resumed today.

Representing Smt. KC Gandhi School in the H.T. Bhandari Cup inter-school cricket tournament organised by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA), Dhanawade became the first player, in any form of representative cricket, to record a four-digit score. When he went past 1000, with the help of 124 fours and 59 sixes.

The most incredible scorecard you’re ever likely to see.
Unlikely that you will find such a scorecard.
