Every match is not fixed. (A must-read note for the ones who say it is, at the end)

It's been an awe-inspiring year for West Indies, isn't it? First the U-19 World Cup and now, the men and women both have been qualified for the finals of World T-20 2016.

Taking into consideration the semi-final match between West Indies and India, it was a spectacular match, a perfect match for the crowd's entertainment, though it didn't end in the way more than 1.2 billion people wanted it to.

As expected, one of the prominent reasons and things said by Indian media and some "fans", oh wait let me correct myself, "fake fans", was that "The match was fixed." One cannot deny the fact that in recent years, there have been quite a few fixing scandals but that doesn't mean that every close match is a fixed match, does it? If one thinks so then they are indirectly insulting the game we all love, the game that is loved and watched all over the globe, the game that consists of so many emotions, the game of cricket.

We don't know what it takes to carry the burden of a 1.2 billion people's expections, we don't know the determination with which the boys are playing cricket, we don't know the amount of hardwork they have put in, we don't know the amount of sacrifices they have made. The answer to all this is unknown because it is immeasurable.

There were 2 no-balls bowled in the India vs West Indies match and on both the balls a catch was taken, also, Jadeja's foot touched the boundary while he attempted to save a six which later ended as a catch. This doesn't signify that the match was fixed. Mistakes happen, it was a big stage, there was a lot of pressure and yes, there were alot of expections. Those who think it was fixed, don't know the pressure of 1.2 billion expections, maybe because they have never got so much success in their life or maybe because they are fake fans.

Cricket is like a religion in India. People really worship it. It's not right to disrespect the game and the players this way. It will be great if the excuse or the saying after every close match that, "The match was fixed" reduces in number.

This issue is destroying the image of cricket in many ways. Let's not think in this "fake" way and instead think in the right spirit because guess what, the boys are giving their hearts out for this, they don't deserve this in return.

Let's take an initiative and spread this piece of knowledge or common sense, one can say, everywhere because there are some so called "cricket fans" who think that every close match is fixed.

Note for all the fake fans (the ones who say"the match was fixed" ) : It's okay if you are a bit jealous of the fact that cricket is the most loved sport in India, it's okay if you don't understand the game of cricket, it's okay if you can't see the game of cricket advancing, it's okay if you have lost your money that you put in for a team, it's okay. But it's not okay, if you disrespect the sport in this way, not at all. Let me tell you one thing very clear, every cricket match is not fixed. If you still can't agree with it, I wonder how big your ego is, but hey, don't you worry, it will never even be half of what cricket means to the "Real fans".
