Indian squad picked for the Zimbabwe and West Indies tour

Today, the Indian selectors picked the Indian squads for the upcoming tours of Zimbabwe and West Indies at the Cricket centre. Dhoni will lead the ODI and T20 teams for the Zimbabwe tour while Kohli will lead the team for four tests against the West Indies.

Indian team for Zimbabwe: MS Dhoni, Rahul, Fazal, Manish, Karun, Rayudu, R Dhawan, Axar, Jayant, Dhawal, Bumrah, Sran, Mandeep, Kedar, Unadkat, Chahal

Indian team for West Indies: Virat Kohli (C), Vijay, Dhawan, KL Rahul, Pujara, Rahane, Rohit, Saha, Ashwin, Jadeja, Ishant, Shami, Bhuvi, Umesh, Shardul, Binny.

Shardul Thakur was considered owing to his excellent domestic performances despite being ignored by the Kings XI Punjab for the IPL. Ajinkya Rahane was selected as the vice captain of the West Indies tour. Batsman Faiz Fazal was also slected for the ODI squad.
