"You have to risk losing to win Test matches", says Virat Kohli

In the latest statement, Virat mentioned that one needs to risk losing matches. This was the first time where he won as a Test captain after Dhoni’s retirement from tests. This was a massive win for him and the series was levelled 1-1.

Kohli as a player motivates every individual to give his best. That's what sets him apart from others. He is also learning from the mistakes what he has done so that he doesn't repeat the same mistakes in the coming matches.

Virat also stated that, "draw" is the last option and the whole team bred to risk for losing test match.

Virat’s captaincy in Test has always been a question. Relatively young, he still needs to learn a lot about captaincy. He has performed well but the team's performance has been poor and many a times, the team selection has not been logical. Analysing which player fits the best is one thing he needs to work on.

In long run, if Virat improves the above skills and learns from Dhoni and former captains then he can be a great captain which will fetch him good amount of positiveness after Dhoni’s retirement.
